Missing Elderly Man from San Rafael Sought by Police

Police say the 93-year-old man-- missing since Wednesday night-- suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented.

By Bay City News Service:

San Rafael police Thursday are asking for the public's help in finding an elderly man who went missing after having dinner with his daughter on Wednesday night.

Robert Leslie Davis, 93, was last seen at 8 p.m. Wednesday in San Rafael driving a 2001 silver Toyota Camry with a California license plate 4SEY056.

Davis had left Corte Madera from his weekly dinner with his daughter and was last seen driving toward U.S. Highway 101 to presumably head home, according to police.

He suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented. It was raining heavily when he left so he may have gotten lost, police said.

Davis is a white man with gray hair and gray eyes who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 139 pounds, police said.

He was wearing a beige jacket, yellow sweater and beige slacks. Anyone who has seen him is asked to call San Rafael police at (415) 485-3000.
