John Parulis is a member of CWA Local 39521.

From 1982-1987 he served aboard Greenpeace's Rainbow Warrior and other vessels as a video documentarian capturing film that was seen on network television, 60 Minutes and MTV.

He currently resides in San Rafael and is active in local environmental issues. John also serves as an organizer for LaborTech a semi-annual convention for teaching labor activists the latest information on media and streaming technology.
