Thelen Creative focuses on the research, creation, presentation and curation of historical and educational-related multi-platform content for families, businesses and organizations. Content includes music creation, genealogy research, audio and visual documentation, oral histories, event videography and preservation for private archives and public exhibition.

Thelen Creative is a Northern California historian creating multi-platform content focusing on music and history. Thelen's work has been acknowledged by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, California Council for the Promotion of History, and by numerous audio/visual festivals. Thelen is a Bay Area Citizen Journalist Award recipient ( for writing and research on a documentary airing on the nation's largest PBS station, KQED) and is an active member of BMI and the Recording Academy.
