Founded in 1935, this charming museum allows visitors to view artifacts from Marin's history, including amazing photos of the Mt. Tam Railroad and documentation of the early days of Muir Woods. Daily fees for regular vehicle parking in the summer run $8 per day Monday through Thursday and $10 per day Friday through Sunday. Swimming pool fees are $5 per person. The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the swim season.
