as always people have complete control and can watch these self aggrandizing 'award shows' or chooseRead More not to (watch). I choose not to watch them. And the remarks by the president of GLADD above are her own remarks nothing more. Believe it or not many will tolerate the sexual preferences of others and believe all should be treated the same under our laws BUT that does not mean they celebrate 'their' love. How ridiculous and self serving her statement is. So be it. Our dysfunctional elected officials completely missed an opportunity to move to establish domestic partnerships for any combination of human beings. Marriage should have been left with the hundreds of fabricated religions on this planet, social benefits here in America should have been under domestic partnerships (for all). TV is today's version of the circus. When it comes to town with its freak shows and acts and music etc. you can decide to pay your money and go or not go. The challenge today is that the circus performs 7X24X365 nonstop. You can either live your life or sit back and watch others live theirs.

Sorry but $80 to see Phil and his buddies at Terrapin is ridiculous in my view but to each theirRead More own. If you want to hear authentic Dead music just as they played it back in the day then Dark Star Orchestra is a much better band NOW and they play locally many times at The Fillmore, Mystic Theater, etc. Long live the Dead!

Hollywood moguls would harm more animals and even humans if they could (for effect) and if it wouldRead More add to their bottom line. This is not surprising only how long it took for more to catch on to the bs fed to us by Hollywood via their 'no animals were harmed in the filming of this ....' It is always about money and they would say "Hey people continue to hand over their money to us to watch this stuff so we will continue to do it". I believe that what Gandhi said is true... "You can judge a society by the way it treats its animals". Hollywood as a society is a sick society for sure. Violence is the norm of the day for Hollywood. And the lemmings sitting in front of their boob tubes continue to buy it. Nothing will change and this 'outrage' will die down as it always seems to.

George Lucas has solid tastful well designed building and content ideas. I have not been impressedRead More by the competing bids for the project site. I would rather San Francisco be known for intelligent and evolving substance than podge podge entertainment offerings. Historical unreplaceable items should not be stored and presented right next to the bay, there is no way to guarantee safety from disaster.

When will the unconnected and disenfranchised ever get a break? Not everyone is in the cool crowd.

Not a bad idea. My suggestion is that San Rafael de-incorporate as a city in order to let the countyRead More solve its homeless problem.
