I only met him a dozen times when we were photographing the same event for different newsRead More organizations, but I always enjoyed our brief chats. He seemed like a wonderful and kind man, as well as an outstanding photographer. I will miss him.

I've heard members of this group play at the San Rafael Elks Lodge-- what fun to see them out inRead More public!!

One of the best things about the flash mob was that there were so many people who came from all overRead More the Bay Area -- Marin, SF, Sonoma, Santa Cruz, East Bay -- that many of us didn't know each other. I was just as surprised at how many people suddenly pulled ukuleles out of their shopping bags and started playing along, as the diners who were eating lunch at the Food Court. :)

This sounds like a blast and I'm planning on going. One question though - how are people gonna getRead More up there? There's not nearly enough parking anywhere on the front side of Tam to accommodate this many people. Shuttle buses? Teleportation? Everyone has to ride their bike? How will this happen?

I so agree with Jan! We are so fortunate that he is now dedicating his fortune, immense creativityRead More and incredible intellect to helping others - via the park, his educational foundation and now this museum. Can't wait to see what he does next!

George Lucas is a prince among men and super hero in my book for all he has done and is planning toRead More do to make Marin and Presidio a better place.

Mr. Krasney, you are one of the brightest and best informed commentators on the radio. VeryRead More respectful of all points of view.

Christian Does the Huffington Post decide Patch content? I notice Arianna Huffington is still theRead More editor even though it was sold to AOL. Is that why we picked up this article? If you read the comments from the original article they are nothing short of disgusting. I think what each community wants from Patch is different. On the website for the Huff Post drinking article they could care less about the impact of drinking games on teen alcohol use. It is a totally different audience from Novato or even Marin.

I also agree as well as cannot believe they post basically that staying home means you live inRead More poverty. Kind of racists. A lot of people choose to be responsible and drink at home rather than drive. I know they wrote" lassitude or poverty", but we all know what they are leaning to.

A poor journalistic choice: I absolutely agree with the comments above. There are more creative waysRead More to enjoy the oscars. Emphasizing "drinking to excessiveness" is not the best choice. Think about your choice of words for a better headline.
