Take a walk through the past with a visit to the Marin History Museum, which is located in the Gothic Revival-style Gate Boyd House at the entrance to Boyd Memorial Park. Founded in 1935, this charming museum allows visitors to view artifacts from Marin's history, including amazing photos of the Mt. Tam Railroad and documentation of the early days of Muir Woods. From May to September, walking tours are available every third Saturday of the month. Admission is free.
