Friday

Art Exhibition Opening Reception

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Crome Architecture (905 4th Street, San Rafael)

Gretchen Kish's Natural States exhibit features original oils and acrylics on canvas and linen.


Saturday

McNears Mighty Kids Mud Run

When: 9 a.m.

Where: McNears Beach Park (201 Cantera Way, San Rafael)

This adventure race for kids will test their grit and endurance,. Kids five to 14 years of age will be challenged with a course through grass, sand, mud, and the woods with fun and trying obstacles in their way.


St. Paul's Harvest Bazaar

When: 7 p.m.

Where: St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1123 Court Street, San Rafael)

St. Anne's Guild hosts its Annual Harvest Bazaar & Rummage Sale (Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. And Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon). Fresh baked pies and light lunches will be sold at this free event. All money raised supports St. Anne's charity work.

Northern Lights

When: 7 p.m.

Where: Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center (1118 Fourth Street)

Award winning filmmaker Rob Nilsson will present a 35mm print of a film he collaborated when John Hanson on. Northern Lights depicts labor organizing among working farmers in North Dakota in 1915.


Monday

Marin County's annual Veterans Day Ceremony

When: 9:30 a.m.

Where: Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium (10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael)

Award-winning documentary producer and Vietnam War combat veteran Thomas Bird of Mill Valley will serve as keynote speaker for Marin County’s annual Veterans Day ceremony.
