Where: St. John's Episcopal Church (14 Lagunitas Road, Ross)

A professional cast will perform Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory." The literary masterpiece depicts Capote’s upbringing in rural Alabama.

 

SATURDAY

Run or Dye: World's Most Colorful 5k Run

When: 9 a.m.

Where:  Candlestick Park (490 Jamestown Avenue, San Francisco)

The color-blasted 5k will feature holiday-themed showers of safe, eco-friendly, plant-based cornstarch dye at every kilometer for a day of festive fun.

 

SUNDAY

The Nutcracker in 3D

When: 1:30 p.m.

Where: California Film Institute (1118 4th St, San Rafael)

This 3D production was filmed at the historic Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, where the original Nutcracker was first performed over 120 years ago.
