San Rafael Mayor Gary Phillips will hold the first of a series of socials that will be held quarterly. Ordinary citizens are invited to share their views with the mayor over coffee and cookies.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

Where: First Presbyterian Church (72 Kensington Road, San Anselmo)

First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo offers a family-friendly Christmas Eve service of Lessons and Carols with a children's pageant. All are welcome.

 

St. Paul’s Christmas Eve Pageant

When: 5 p.m.

Where: St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1123 Court St San Rafael)

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Christmas Eve pageant is open to anyone looking for a place to worship. Children who drop in will be outfit with costumes.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 25

Finnegan’s in Novato is Open for Christmas Dinner

When: 5 p.m.

Where: Finnegan's Marin Restaurant & Bar (877 Grant Avenue Novato)

The restaurant will feature an acoustic performance from Matt Bolton, Todd Rundgren’s former guitarist.

Studio C Ballet's 2nd Annual "Nutcracker Fantasy Camp"

When: 9:30 a.m.

Where: Studio C Ballet (12 School Street Plaza 12 D, Fairfax)

 

Friday, Dec. 27

Equator Coffee’s Tasting: Decaf Ethiopia Moredocofe Natural Organic

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Equator Coffee (244 Shoreline Hwy, Mill Valley)

Taste this unique decaffeinated coffee from the Oromia region of Ethiopia. This coffee was produced by the natural method, the traditional Ethiopian dried-in-the-fruit technique of coffee processing. This lot was decaffeinated by Swiss Water using the water process method, and is certified organic.
