High Tech Burrito Grand Opening in San Anselmo

Where: Red Hill Shopping Center (914 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., San Anselmo)

The popular small restaurant chain is opening shop in the Red Hill Shopping Center. Festivities include live music and free food.  Donations will be accepted for the Imagination Park in San Anselmo.

San Anselmo Town Council Meeting

When: 7 p.m.

Where: San Anselmo Town Council Chambers (525 San Anselmo Avenue, San Anselmo)

Council will consider a rate request of 5.52% from increase Marin Sanitary Service. If approved, the increase would go into affect retroactively to Jan. 1 of this year.

Fairfax Bridge Rehab Project - Public Meeting

When: 6:30 p.m.

Where: Fairfax Women’s Club (46 Park Road, Fairfax)

Local residents are invited to present their views and ideas concerning the infrastructure that supports the Fairfax community. The public workshop focuses on the Creek Road Bridge rehabilitation and the preventive maintenance projects for Marin, Spruce, and Canyon Road bridges.

California King Tides Initiative: Photographing the Rising Tide

When: 11 a.m.

Where: Tomales Bay State Park (1208 Pierce Point Rd. Inverness)

Find out how sea level rise will impact Heart’s Desire beach by observing the year’s highest tides called “king tides.” Photos taken during king tide events document impacts to private property, public infrastructure and wildlife habitat.
