The Parks Forward Initiative and the California State Park and Recreation Commission will hold a workshop in San Rafael to gather new ideas from Bay Area residents on how to improve efficiency, create financial sustainability, and better leverage partnerships within the California State Park System.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 2, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Embassy Suites San Rafael, 101 McInnis Parkway, San Rafael. It will also be webcast live on www.cal-span.org.

4. Information Meeting on Parking Fee at Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry Terminal

Thursday, October 3, 3:30 PM to 7 PM

Stop by and learn about the Larkspur Ferry Terminal Parking Fee Proposal which includes: charge a weekday only, daily parking fee. Weekends and holidays are excluded; a daily range of $2 to $5; an option for a prepaid monthly pass ranging from $20 to $100 based on customer usage of 10, 15 or 20 days. Dynamic Pricing will also be discussed. The parking fee will not be implemented any sooner than January 2014.
