San Rafael Pacifics Tap Terra Linda Native for Front Office Role

Jennifer Clark was named the team's Director of Business and Community Relations.

The San Rafael Pacifics on Monday announced the hiring of Terra Linda native Jennifer Clark as its Director of Business and Community Relations.

Clark joins the Pacifics after serving as personnel director for Staff Pro Events, director of operations for the Northern California Engineering Contractors Association and events coordinator & director of the San Rafael Chamber Leadership Institute.

Clark will focus on community outreach and business development while overseeing game day events, the host family program, school appearances, donations and the newly formed Pacifics Community Fund.

"Planning and implementing successful sponsorships and community relationships within the San Rafael community and beyond is a priority for me as I join the San Rafael Pacifics," Clark said in a prepared statement.

"The opportunity to nourish past partnerships and create fun experiences for new sponsors, the nonprofit sector and especially our game day crowd, is what makes this position so exciting."

Clark started her career in fundraising, community service, and event planning at the Junior Chamber of Commerce while attending Washington State University.

She graduated from WSU with degrees in sociology and psychology, held several board of director positions and received recognition as Outstanding Jaycee from the International Junior Chamber President, team officials said.

Along with her professional experience in event, program and association management, she continued volunteer work for the past 20 years and currently sits on the board of directors for Chimps Inc.

"We couldn't be happier to have Jennifer on board,” Pacifics Assistant General Manager Josh Jackson said in a prepared statement.

“From our very first meeting, I knew Jennifer would be a great addition to our team. Talk to her for just a few minutes and anyone can see she is very knowledgeable and invested in the Marin County community. Needless to say, we're very glad to have her."
