I took my wife and daughter to a Pacifics game, and we had a great time. My wife said she half-expected to see Norman Rockwell walking around the grandstand. It was such a perfect all-American small town activity. We loved all the activities for kids between the innings. The food was very good, and I'm sure people paid at least as much attention to eating as to watching the game. I hope all the Bret Harte Ridge nimbyists who tried to stop the games by throwing lawyers at them got off their high horse and came down to a game, to see what a wonderful community activity this is. Congratulations to the Pacifics for a successful first season! We look forward to their games next year. Mike Van Horn
