PHOTOS: Marin Students’ Photography Featured in Bank of Marin 2013 Calendar

Check out the stunning Marin photography by local youth, including two by a Tam High student that was selected for the Bank of Marin's 2013 calendar.

Several San Rafael kids were among the nine students from Marin who had photos selected to be in the Bank of Marin’s 2013 calendar.

Angela Begg and Morgan Rich, who both attend Marin Catholic High School, as well as Emily Rutherford and Emily Lane, who attend San Rafael High School, were featured in calendar.

Other Marin students with photos in the calendar will include; Fairfax resident Gracie Ross, who attends San Anselmo resident Jackson Karlenzig, who attends Sir Francis Drake High School, Larkspur resident Lena Felton, who attends Marin Academy; Redwood High Student Keever Mulligan, of Larkspur;

Petaluma resident Ryan Scherer, who attends Casa Grande High School, and Sonoma resident Amy Cogbill, who attends Sonoma Valley High School, were other winners from the North Bay.

Students submitted close to 100 images and judges at the Bank of Marin made the final selection.

This was the third year the bank has worked with photography teachers and students at North Bay high schools to select images for the calendar.

Bank of Marin will donate $100 to each participating high school for the purchase of photography supplies and equipment. Sonoma Valley High School will receive an additional contribution, as their student’s photo was selected for the bank’s holiday card. The 2013 community calendars will be available for free at all Bank of Marin branches and via the Bank of Marin website at www.bankofmarin.com.

It would be nice if the comments section had "Thumbs up / Thumbs down" like the PressRead More Democrat.

We have been to Pet Emergency a few times with various animals over the years, and they areRead More absolutely FANTASTIC! Top quality medical care, and a very caring and compassionate staff. I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
