Walk Into History: Starkweather Shoreline Park Trail

Join Marin Conservation League, San Rafael Community Development Director Paul Jensen and longtime conservationist Jean Starkweather for MCL's 10th Walk Into (Conservation) History at the Jean and John Starkweather Shoreline Park trail in San Rafael. You will learn how this bayfront park, once underwater, has been diked, used as a dump, partly developed and now partly conserved for the community and wildlife.

From US 101 in Marin County, take the Interstate 580 exit towards Francisco Blvd East. Head east on Bellam, turn left at Kerner, right onto Canal Street. Park just east of Pickleweed Community Center.
