Seminar on Predatory Loans & Scams in Spanish.

Fair Housing of Marin will hold a clinic on predatory loans, foreclosure, short sales and loan modification scams for Spanish-speaking individuals on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at The Connection Center, 3240 Kerner Boulevard, room 109, in San Rafael, from 6 to 9 p.m.  The seminar is ideal for Individuals or families who are behind on their mortgage payments, want to learn if they have a predatory loan, want to learn about short sales, are interested in modifying their loans, want to avoid common scams or want speak with HUD-certified counselors for an initial interview.  Featured speakers will be Maeve Elisa Brown, Director of HERA (Housing and Economic Rights Advocates) and Alberto Rios, LL.M, Realtor.  RSVP to Beth Rader, Foreclosure Prevention Counselor, Fair Housing of Marin, 415-457-5025 x107 or brader@fairhousingmarin.com.
