Red Sunshine: A Breast Cancer Pathologist Learns from Life on the Other Side of the Microscope

Dr. Kimberly Allison is director of Breast Pathology at University of Washington Medical Center (Seattle, WA) where she specializes in breast cancer diagnosis. Her personal experience as a breast cancer patient coupled with her education and professional experience led Dr. Allison to write a poignant and powerful autobiography, Red Sunshine --an uplifting story of survival in which Dr. Allison shares all the intimate details of her emotional journey with both humor and honesty.
