In an evening co-sponsored by the Community Media Center of Marin and the College of Marin, Oakland based journalist Thomas Peele will speak about his book Killing the Messenger. Killing the Messenger investigates the historical, social and political forces that led to the murder of Chauncey Bailey, a journalist killed in Oakland in 2007.
