ESSAY CONTEST for 5th-8th Graders

ESSSAY CONTEST "WHY I AM PROUD TO PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG" OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS: GRADES 5^TH – 8^TH

The San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 invites all children who live or attend schools in Marin County to compete in a National Essay Contest. There is no cost to enter the competition.  Participation awards will be distributed and monetary prizes for winners.

Children will compete, by grades, 5^th/ 6^th and 7^th/8^th divisions. The Top 3 Winners from each group will be advanced forward to a District-wide competition and then to the National Competition in February 2012.

** Contest starts November 1^st 2011 and final deadline to submit essays is January 7^th 2012!  All essays can be mailed directly to the San Rafael Elks Lodge. Elks, PO Box 150789, San Rafael, 94915.
