Dixie Fifth Graders Win Grand Prize at Science Fair

Blake Benson, Nick Cauz and Jack De Graves won in environmental science for their project "Lead Is In What?"

Three fifth graders from Dixie Elementary School took home the grand prize in the Marin County Elementary Science Fair.

Blake Benson, Nick Cauz and Jack De Graves won in environmental science for thie project "Lead Is In What?" There were 150 projects entered in the fair for fourth through sixth grade students. The projects were on display at in San Rafael on March 27.

I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
