Public Library (1100 E Street, San Rafael), presents
Modern Nature: Georgia O’Keeffe
and Lake George, an art talk led by De Young museum docent, Maureen
O’Brien, examining the extraordinary body of work created by Georgia O’Keeffe
at Lake George, New York. Part of the
First Wednesday Art Talks series, this lecture is held in the City Council
Chambers, 1400 Fifth Avenue. Doors open at 12:30 pm. Seating is limited.

influencing your life the most. Write your truth through poetry, prose, fact or

forum in conjunction with the Marin Independent Journal (IJ) on Community
Journalism. Come and meet IJ editors and reporters who are interested in
getting suggestions from community members for how they can better cover our
