San Rafael Public Library Announcements (Week of December 3, 2012)

The San Rafael Public Library is proud to offer two community libraries: the Downtown Library at 5th and E Streets and the Pickleweed Library on Canal Street.

The San Rafael Public Library’s First Wednesday Art Talk- Holidays: Christmas, Chanukah, and other Festive Celebrations, will be held in the San Rafael City Council Chambers, 1400 Fifth Ave. on Wednesday December 5th from 1pm to 2pm.  See beautiful and intriguing paintings that capture the spirit of the holidays. This slide-talk is presented by Fine Arts Museum docent, Kay Payne. Doors open at 12:30 pm. Seating is limited, admission is free. Sponsored by the Friends of the San Rafael Public Library.

The San Rafael Public Library’s (1100 E Street, San Rafael) ongoing Computer Chat group meets on Wednesday, December 5th from 12:15pm-1pm in the library’s meeting room. The San Rafael Public Library’s (1100 E Street, San Rafael) ongoing weekly Storytime for 4 to 6 year olds is every Tuesday afternoon at 3:30pm. Children enjoy storybooks, flannel stories and puppets.
