San Rafael Corporate Center to Be Rezoned for Medical Research

The San Rafael Planning Commission will hear a proposal for the San Rafael Corporate Center to be rezoned for medicine and research facilities tonight.

City staff will decide if the San Rafael Corporate Center should be rezoned to allow for medical and research facilities at tonight's Planning Commission meeting.

The project proposes that approximately 17 percent of the 401,000 square-foot facility at 750 to 790 Lindaro Street be allowed for medical use, which includes an office, clinic or medical laboratory.

The plan also includes eliminating 77 parking spaces (a 6 percent reduction) of the 1323 spaces now available. There will be no physical changes to the building.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at . The staff report is available on the right.

It would be nice if the comments section had "Thumbs up / Thumbs down" like the PressRead More Democrat.

We have been to Pet Emergency a few times with various animals over the years, and they areRead More absolutely FANTASTIC! Top quality medical care, and a very caring and compassionate staff. I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
