The San Rafael Planning Commission unanimously approved the evironmental impact report for a proposed soccer facility at 397 Smith Ranch Road at Tuesday night's meeting.
"To me this says that this EIR has been exhaustively studied," Comissioner Jack Robertson said.
Now that the evironmental analysis is approved, the next step will be a community meeting on the merits of the project itself.
