It's Simple to Use County's EV Charging Stations

Do you drive an electric vehicle? This video guides you through the charging process at several Marin County locations.

With this stormy autumn weather, we're seeing leaves blowing around everywhere. We're also seeing Leafs blowing around more often — the all-electric Nissan Leafs that are selling well among folks who turn green at the thought of greenhouse gas emissions.

Leafs, Toyota Priuses, Chevy Volts, old Honda Insights and other plug-ins are gaining popularity in Marin, which has a growing need for charging stations. The County of Marin is responding the increased demand by installing charging stations at the Marin Civic Center.

Have a look at this new county-made video.

Most unfortunate that this presentation is misleading, because one is led to assume that ALL charging stations in Marin would be shewn, not just County EV Charging stations. Only the givernment's county's locations. Missed are the charging stations at San Rafael's C Street Garage and A street garage; the one out at iHop; one at the Inn at Marin; and two others in southern Marin. Use Chargepoint.net to seek them out. While it's nice to see such a video, it's a sin they omitted the locations not under their givernmintal purview.
