Drivers heading south on Hwy. 101 from won't be able to access the southbound on-ramp at the end of East Blithedale Ave. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday this week.
The on-ramp closure is due to the removal of flammable vegetation on the hillside above the on-ramp. The work is part of a partnership the Mill Valley Fire Department, Caltrans and Conservation Corp North Bay.
The on-ramp will be closed Tuesday, July 10 through Thursday, July 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Mill Valley Police Department have placed an electronic board on East Blithedale near Kipling Drive to inform drivers of the closure.
"Please consider using the Shoreline on-ramp, via Miller Avenue, as an alternate access to the highway and allow more time for your commute on these 3 days," city officials said in a statement.
