Lottery for Brown/Whitman Debate Tickets

Students and community can enter to attend gubernatorial debate.

Dominican University of California is conducting a lottery for students and members of the community to attend the Oct. 12 California governor's debate between Democrat Jerry Brown and Republican Meg Whitman.

The university provides two venues for students and the community to watch the debate. The live debate is in Angelico Hall, 50 Acacia Ave. The broadcast of the debate is in Conlan Recreation Center on Grand Avenue. Tickets to both venues are free.

Due to high demand and limited space, Dominican is doing a lottery for tickets to attend the live debate in Angelico Hall. To enter the lottery, students and community members can go to the debate website at www.CaGovDebate.com to complete and submit the entry form. The lottery opens on Tuesday and closes at midnight on Sept. 17. Lottery winners plus all entrants are notified by e-mail on Sept. 20.
