D Street Repaving Nearly Complete

San Rafael crews have been repaving the Gerstle Park thoroughfare this week. Has it caused traffic problems for you? Tell us in the comments!

 

The San Rafael public works department has been busy repaving D Street in Gerstle Park this week. 

The road, between 1st Street and Antonette Avenue, has been under construction since Monday.

Kevin McGowan, San Rafael assistant public works director and city engineer, said the repaving should be complete by 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Twitter user @notnowimbusy58 said the traffic was “horrific” Tuesday morning on the stretch.
