Would You Buy An App From San Quentin?

Prisoners are developing apps and Internet skills as part of a special program at San Quentin State Prison.

San Quentin inmates are learning Internet skills and even pitching ideas for apps that could show up on your SmartPhone. The inmates are part of The Last Mile Program, according to a report from Forbes.

Through volunteer organizations trying to help them rehabilitate, inmates have access to a range of programs, including theater, education and sports.
