Woman Accused of Throwing Glass at Restaurant Employee

A 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

San Rafael police arrested a local woman after she allegedly threw a drinking glass at a restaurant employee on Thursday.

Kristin Veronika Ferrell, 26, was booked in on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor charge of violating probation. Her bail is $50,000.

At approximately 11:52 a.m. on July 19, Farrell allegedly became irate for an unknown reason and began yelling profanities near the outside patio of a B Street restaurant, police spokesman Charly Taylor said.

She is accused of throwing a drinking glass at a restaurant employee when he asked her to leave. The employee moved out of the way and the glass shattered against the wall, Taylor said.

Farrell was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to Taylor.
