Two women, both of Santa Rosa, were found with burglary tools and taken into custody on suspicion of car theft and other stolen property charges, Snyder said.

One of the women also had two warrants out for her arrest from Sonoma County, she said.

During the search for the suspects, an emergency notification went out via phone to residents urging them to stay in place while authorities combed through the neighborhood, Snyder said.
