Two Transported to Hospital After Car Accident on Bellam Blvd.

The cause of the two-car collision is under investigation.

Two people were taken to Marin General Hospital after a two-car crash in San Rafael this morning, a fire official said.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. on Bellam Boulevard just east of Anderson Drive, San Rafael Fire Chief Chris Gray said.

The injured parties were taken to the hospital by ambulance. One person was seriously injured and the other suffered moderate injuries, Gray said. 

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
