Two Transported to Hospital After Car Accident on Bellam Blvd.

The cause of the two-car collision is under investigation.

Two people were taken to Marin General Hospital after a two-car crash in San Rafael this morning, a fire official said.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. on Bellam Boulevard just east of Anderson Drive, San Rafael Fire Chief Chris Gray said.

The injured parties were taken to the hospital by ambulance. One person was seriously injured and the other suffered moderate injuries, Gray said. 

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.

Gosh, I hope the parties involved will be alright. I wonder how this happened? On a trivial, less important note, look at that beautiful old (Buick?) car from the 1950's. Usually, when one drives one of these collector items, one is usually incredibly careful while driving.

The classic convertible is a '58 or '59 Edsel. Curious to find out what caused this accident. Distracted driving due to cell phone useage is the primary cause of accidents these days. Turn off the phones and drive, people! The life you save may be your own.
