Two Men Arrested After Gun Fired

Two men were arrested and booked Sunday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Two men were arrested Sunday at approximately 5:41 p.m. near Fairfax Street after a gun shot was fired in a crowded apartment, according to the San Rafael Police Department

Officers responded to a call reporting a fight between several suspects who were armed with weapons. After a gun was fired in close proximity, officers investigated the scene and found a loaded hand gun in the area. No one was hurt.

San Rafael police officers arrested Eduardo Alvarez Pantoja, a 21-year-old man who lives in Novato, and a 17-year-old male. Both were booked in Marin County Jail. Pantoja’s bail is set at $50,000.
