Expect Traffic Delays on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Through March 5
Give yourself extra time if you're planning on traveling to the East Bay on weekdays or weekends this month.
Occasional traffic delays are expected at the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge toll plaza, starting at 8 Friday night and continuing through early March, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
One lane will be closed at a time while officials install new toll collection equipment. On Friday night, a lane on westbound 80, before the plaza, will be closed.
The weekday delays, scheduled for weekdays Feb. 19 through March 5, could delay motorists up to 15 minutes. Weekend delays will be shorter.
