Check here for alternative routes on Wednesday.

Attention to anyone who will be traveling on Fifth Avenue on Wednesday: use Second, Third or Fourth streets instead.

From 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 20, a traffic advisory will be in place on Fifth Avenue from Hetherton to C streets, according to the . The advisory will make way for towing vehicles to deliver trailers to 1400 Fifth Ave.

The trailers will serve as the temporary home for the Police Department as the heating, ventiliation and air conditioning system is being repaired over the next months. The Police Department will be operating in the trailers for between four to six months.

The towing vehicles and trailers will be escorted from the freeway to the drop off point by traffic officers. Some portions of Fifth Avenue and C Street may be closed temporarily to allow for maneuvering the trailers into place.

We have been to Pet Emergency a few times with various animals over the years, and they areRead More absolutely FANTASTIC! Top quality medical care, and a very caring and compassionate staff. I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
