Prostitution Sting Leads to Five Arrests

Undercover officers worked the neighborhood.

Four men were arrested Thursday night on suspicion of misdemeanor solicitation in a San Rafael Police Department sting.

Sgt. Raul Aguilar said the operation was organized based on an increase in complaints about prostitution in the neighborhood.

"Prostitution like most crimes goes in trends," Aguilar said. "We do them (sting operations) as needed."

Two women officers went undercover as prostitutes beginning early in the evening, leading to the arrest of Juan Nicolas Tique Chiche, 42; Noe Ramirez Cruz, 33; Jesus Alfredo Cab Acosta, 22; and Moises Lopez, 40.

A fifth suspect, Jose Orsy Quintanilla-Lemus, 31, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor solicitation and felony drug possession, authorities said.
