Sheriff’s Blotter: $5K in Cash Stolen From Santa Venetia Home

15:23 at Idylberry Road and Mt. Lassen Drive in Lucas Valley. RP said they have the road blocked for construction and was upset that the deputy took off quickly when he told them the road was blocked.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

 

13:56 at 3501 Civic Center Drive – Subject in the lobby with a hammer. Subject told the reporting person that the sheriff’s department tried to kill him and he had a weapon. Subject did not show the RP the hammer. Subject places on a 72-hour hold at Unit B.

14:35 at 3501 Civic Center Drive. RP’s ex-husband sexually abused their 5-year-old daughter during his custody visit at his residence in Pacifica.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 27

 

3:40 at Lucas Valley Road and Smith Ranch Road – Subject was in possession of switchblade and a small amount of crystal.

7:47 at 102 Waterford in Santa Venetia – RP said there have been transients sleeping in the homes under construction.

10:21 Suspicious circumstance – RP was solicited to wire $3,600 in a scam, seeks advice.

22:46 Sunny Oaks Drive in Santa Venetia -  Money taken from a house when RP was out of town. Total loss between $4,000 and $5,000. RP had cash in a ceramic canister in her room. Thinks it may have ben taken by the workers.

 

Monday, Aug. 26

 

8:50 100 block Auburn Street – RP can see a subject with a bicycle and grocery cart moving his belongings into a homeless encampment in the ravine. Subjects were moved along.

19:46 101 Holmes Avenue – Report of what sounds like a parent hitting the child. No merit to call – kids were playing.
