Sexual Battery and Child Enticement Incidents Reported

Three cases over the weekend.

San Rafael Police said several sexual battery and child enticement incidents were reported in the last several days in the downtown area.

One incident, reported at about 1:26 a.m. Sunday, involved two adult women who were walking on the 800-block of Fourth Street, when a many approached in the opposite direction. Police said the man grabbed one of the women by the wrist and reached his hand inside her pants.

The women ran from the area and reported the assault. The suspect is described as a white male about 5- feet, 8 inches to 5-feet, 10 inches, wearing a black baseball cap and black hooded sweatshirt.

Authorities also received two separate reports in which male drivers stopped their vehicles next to female juveniles and asked them to get inside.  The first report was received on Saturday in the area of Second and B streets. The driver in this case was described as a dark-skinned male in his 60s. The driver was wearing a baseball cap and driving a silver Honda CRV. 

The second report was received on Sunday near 360 Third St. The driver in the second case was described as a Hispanic male in his 40s. The driver was in an unknown colored pickup truck with matching camper.
