Sex Offender Accused of Raping Woman at Villa Inn Hotel

Indugo Asifa Williams allegedly forced his way into the hotel room and raped a woman at the Villa Inn Hotel on Lincoln Ave.

A registered sex offender was arrested Monday after a woman told hotel staff that he forced his way in to her hotel room and raped her, according to police spokewoman Margo Rohrbacher. 

Indugo Asifa Williams, a 33-year-old resident of San Rafael, was booked in Marin County Jail at 9:22 a.m. July 4 on charges of rape by force, sodomy by force, oral copulation by force, burglary and violation of parole.

Williams was found naked and unconscious in the hotel room when the police arrived. The victim told the police that Williams forced his way inside the room, raped her and hit her in the face several times, Rohrbacher said.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to reports.

Williams is a registered sex offender according to the California Department of Justice database. His bail is currently set at $100,000.
