Santa Venetia Resident Reports Alleged 15-Year-Old Gun Theft

Some guns were stolen in 1998 and owner wanted to make sure that his firearm was listed as stolen.





Here's a brief summary of Marin County Sheriff's activities in unincorporated San Rafael for July 24, 2013:

10:40 a.m. – A 5-year-old boy fell from a play structure in the 200 block of North San Pedro Rd. in Santa Venetia, sustaining a broken arm. The boy was taken to Kaiser Permanente in Terra Linda.

11:43 a.m. – A man filed a report on a theft that occurred at the home in the 600 block of Rosal Way in Santa Venetia 15 years ago. The man told Sheriff’s deputies that some guns were stolen from a safe at the resident in 1998, and that he wanted to make sure that his gun was listed as stolen. A deputy told the man that a report on the missing firearms was filed in 2002.
