San Rafael Police Will be Out in Force

Joining Avoid the Marin 13 effort in county.

San Rafael Police will be joining 12 other agencies beginning Friday afternoon in saturating the county with law enforcement officers on the lookout for unlawful drivers.

The stepped-up patrols will continue through Sunday. Extra officers will be on duty to arrest drivers who may be intoxicated, driving with suspended licenses or without licenses.

The operation is funded by the Avoid the Marin 13 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
