Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Man with Stick

A 44-year-old man is accused of stealing an acquaintance's cell phone after threatening him, according to the police.

San Rafael police arrested a 44-year-old man after he threatened an acquaintance and stole his cell phone, according to police spokewoman Margo Rohrbacher.

Jamal Deynuard Parker was booked in on a felony charge of robbery on Feb. 6. His bail is set at $50,000.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on East Francsico Boulevard and Harbor Street, Parker allegedly punched the 25-year-old victim, threatened him with a stick and made off with his cell phone, Rohrbacher said.

The victim did not seek meidcal attention.
