Super Bowl Patrols Yield Two DUI Arrests

Police stopped 101 drivers on Super Bowl Sunday.

Marin DUI agencies arrested two people on suspicion of driving under the influence over Super Bowl Sunday.

From 3:30p.m. to 10p.m. on Feb. 5, 18 officers were on the lookout for impaired drivers. Approximately 101 drivers were stopped throughout Marin County and 17 field sobriety tests were given. The arrests occurred in Tiburon, according to the Marin Sheriff's Department.

Authorities arrested one driver with a suspended license, cited four unlicensed drivers were cited and issued 17 moving safety violations.
