San Rafael Man Arrested for Alleged Threats to Sen. Boxer

The senator's office voice mail received three threatening voicemails during the week of July 10, according to San Rafael police.

A San Rafael man was arrested this morning for allegedly making death threats to U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer.

A series of threatening messages were left on the voice mail of the senator's office voice mail after business hours during the week of July 10, 2011, according to San Rafael police.

Police were contacted earlier this week, and an investigation identified the caller as Kevin Joseph O'Connell.

O'Connell, 47, was arrested near his home on East Francisco Boulevard and booked into Marin County Jail on one count of making criminal
threats. Bail is set at $500,000 and he is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Tuesday, July 19th at 9 a.m.

We have been to Pet Emergency a few times with various animals over the years, and they areRead More absolutely FANTASTIC! Top quality medical care, and a very caring and compassionate staff. I can't say that I look forward to going there (sick pets are always difficult), but I am sure glad they are here for us when we need them!
