Cat Killed with BB Gun

A 58-year-old woman on Viscaino Way took her cat to the vet after she found it bleeding. An X-ray revealed the animal was shot by a BB gun. The pet died due to the injuries. The incident occurred on April 30, but the woman did not hear or see any suspicious behavior in the area.

Jilted Boyfriend Ransacks Woman’s Apartment

A 34-year-old woman came home on April 30 to find her apartment on North Avenue had been ransacked by her former boyfriend. Several valuables were broken and destroyed. Police officers determined that the suspect entered with a key.

The victim told officers that her boyfriend threatened to vandalize her place if she broke up with him, which she did the previous Thursday. A framed picture of the couple was missing among the items. The suspect texted her an image of the broken frame earlier that day, placing him in the apartment, according to the report.

Vandals Shatter Kinkos’ Window

Sometime after midnight and before 7:15 a.m. on April 30, an unknown person threw a head-sized rock and shattered the back office window of theat 777 Grand Ave.

Burglars Make Off with Generator

Between April 25 and 27, an unknown suspect stole a generator from the Golden State Rv & Boat Storage facility at 1011 Andersen Dr. The suspect cut off the steel cable that locked a wooden container housing the generator. The manager believes the burglar could be a fired employee.
