Police Search for Downtown Bank Robber
Police are asking the public to help identify a man who robbed a Citibank on Thursday.
San Rafael police are searching for a bank robber who demanded cash from a Citibank on 666 Third St. early Thursday evening, according to police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher.
The man entered the Citibank just before 5 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash. No weapon was seen, Rorhbacher said. The suspect left on foot and was last seen running north on Tamalpais Avenue.
The man was described as a white male, age 20 to early 30s, around 5-foot-8 with a slender build. He has a shaved head and some facial hair with tattoos on his head, neck and hands. The suspect was wearing a red hoodie with a design on the front, sunglasses and jeans.
