Police Blotter: July 16 to 21

Civics lessons learned the hard way.

On July 16, at about 6 p.m. a woman parked her car east of Macy's in the Northgate mall parking lot and went in to do some shopping. When she returned at about 10:15 p.m.  her 1994 blue Honda Civic was gone. There was no sign of forced entry at the scene and no suspects were seen or heard. The vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle system.

A man parked a 1997 gray Honda Civic at the Regency Theaters at 280 Smith Ranch Road at about 4 p.m. on July  17. When  he returned at about 6:30 p.m., he discovered the car and the $700 Dell computer that was in it were gone. There was no broken glass at the scene. The car was entered into the stolen vehicle system.
