At about noon on Aug. 21, a man parked his car in the Sears parking lot at 9000 Northgate Drive. When he returned a half hour later, the 1988 red Honda Prelude was missing. The car was entered into the stolen vehicle system.
A Daly City man said he parked his 2006 black Chrysler 300 in the park-and-ride lot a Lucas Valley Road at about 10:45 a.m. of Aug. 21. When he returned after a bike ride at about 5:30 p.m., he discovered the vehicle had been broken into and burglarized. Missing items included $1,500 in black Bacchetta Corsa bike parts, about $220 in Euros, a set of California king-size sheets and CDs including the Vienna Boys Choir among other things. The total loss was listed as $3,287.
Sometine between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23, someone entered a studio on the 400-block of Hickory Lane and stole about $3,000 in American Express Travelers Cheques in a Westamerica Bank bag hidden under a mattress.
