Police Arrest Man Accused of Threatening Hair Salon Employees

An unarmed man allegedly threatened several people on Tuesday, including a police officer.

Police officers arrested a man suspected of threatening several people Tuesday, according to police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher.

Marc Anderson Adams, 58, was booked in on Tuesday on charges of criminal threats and violation of probation. His bail is $50,000.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Adams walked in to a hair salon on the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue. After standing in place for a while, the employees asked him to leave and he said “If I had a gun, you’d be dead right now,” according to Rohrbacher.

After leaving the salon, he continued down the street and threatened two women at a bus stop before a police Sargent confronted him.

Adams, who was unarmed, threatened to stab the Sargent in the neck before he was arrested.
